WHAT IS HIT THE BARRE?Here at HIT THE BARRE we believe we will help to reshape ones body by firing core groups of muscles by utilizing ballet fundamentals, strength training, Pilates and deep stretching. Barre can help to improve posture, alignment of the spine and core conditioning. We are focused here at HIT THE BARRE on long, defined dancer like muscles, as opposed to bulking up and highly impacting the body. We are a low impact, but high intensity 55 minute class. The inspiring, upbeat music and individualized sequences help you achieve higher energy levels and a balanced state of mind and body. The results being a trimmer waist, toned dancer legs and most especially a more lifted seat.

BREAKING DOWN OUR BARRE
The class begins with a warm up, planks, push ups and cardio intervals. Followed by 7-9 minutes of upper body weight training. 15 minutes into the class we HIT THE BARRE. Inner and outer thighs are fired up and sculpted deeply. Stretch and interval training continue throughout until we get to the most challenging section, glutes/seat. Abs at the barre is the longest section of class as core is the hardest part of the body to properly target. The last few minutes of class tone the lower back, work the pelvic area and conclude with a final, long stretch and relaxation exercise.
